The Youth EMS Provider of the Year Award recognizes a young Emergency Medical Services provider who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, professionalism, and dedication to the EMS system in the State of Connecticut.

This award honors a youth EMS member who consistently exhibits a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for patient care and public service. The recipient serves as a role model to peers through leadership, teamwork, community involvement, and a willingness to learn and grow within the EMS profession.

Nominees may be recognized for, but are not limited to:

• Outstanding participation in EMS training, education, or agency activities

• Demonstrated responsibility, maturity, and professionalism beyond expected levels

• Commitment to community service and public safety

• Positive representation of their EMS agency and the Connecticut EMS system

This award is intended to acknowledge the importance of early engagement in EMS and to encourage continued development of future EMS professionals.
