This award was established in honor of Gerald Ferrari and is intended to recognize and commend individuals who serve as “behind-the-scenes” supporters of Emergency Medical Services in Connecticut. These individuals may not be EMS practitioners, but are the unsung heroes whose essential contributions often occur out of the spotlight and frequently go unnoticed and unrecognized.
