EMS
Proudly supporting Connecticut EMS and the communities we serve; Happy EMS Week 2024: Honoring Our Past, Forging Our Future
About Us
Emergency Medical Services, more commonly known as EMS, is a system that responds to emergencies in need of highly skilled pre-hospital clinicians.
The nature of these emergencies often means they work alongside and in collaboration with our colleagues who work in healthcare, public health, emergency management and public safety. EMS providers also play a large role in supportive mental health and behavioral health crisis services.
Connecticut EMS provides a comprehensive prehospital medical response system, ensuring that our community receives prompt and comprehensive emergency medical care. EMS providers respond to many different emergencies.
